What is DTF printing?
DTF stands for direct-to-film. Your artwork is printed onto transfer film, finished with adhesive powder, and heat pressed onto apparel or other compatible fabric items. It is a good option for full-color designs, small batches, brands, teams, events, and custom apparel orders.
What files can I upload?
You can upload PNG, JPG/JPEG, SVG, PSD, AI/EPS, or PDF files for DTF and gang sheet orders. For best results, use high-resolution print-ready artwork. Transparent PNG files are helpful when your design should not have a background.
Do I need print-ready artwork?
Print-ready artwork gives the best result. Please check spelling, colors, sizing, transparent backgrounds, and image quality before ordering. If a file is low resolution or has a background you do not want printed, the finished transfer may show those issues.

How do gang sheets work?
A gang sheet lets you place multiple designs on one DTF sheet so you can order several logos, names, graphics, or sizes together. You arrange the artwork, choose the sheet size, and we print the finished sheet for cutting and pressing.
What is the difference between a gang sheet and DTF transfers by size?
Gang sheets are best when you want multiple designs together on one sheet. DTF transfers by size are best when you want to upload one design, choose its exact width and height, and order the quantity you need.
What is a rolling gang sheet?
A rolling gang sheet is a long DTF sheet ordered by length. It is useful for larger batches, repeat artwork, or longer print runs where you want more artwork on one continuous sheet.
Turnaround, pickup, and shipping
Timing depends on order volume, artwork readiness, cutoff time, and the shipping or pickup option selected at checkout.
How fast is turnaround?
Most DTF transfer and gang sheet orders begin production the next business day. Orders placed before the daily cutoff have the best chance of moving into production sooner, but timing can vary by order size and artwork readiness.
What is the daily cutoff time?
The daily order cutoff is 2:00 PM Eastern time. Orders placed after the cutoff may begin production on the next business day.
Do you offer local pickup in Indianapolis?
Yes. Indy DTF offers local pickup in Indianapolis. Store pickup is usually ready in about 1 business day after production is complete, depending on the order and artwork.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping time depends on the selected carrier method and destination. Standard UPS Ground or similar shipping is typically 3-6 business days after production is complete.
