File prep
Send cleaner art for cleaner transfers.
- Use a transparent PNG, print-ready PDF, AI, EPS, or another high-quality file when possible.
- Size artwork to the print width and height you want before uploading, or include clear sizing notes.
- Keep edges clean and avoid unwanted white backgrounds, halos, or rough cutouts around the design.
- Leave enough spacing between designs on gang sheets so each transfer can be trimmed and pressed cleanly.
- Only upload artwork you have the right to print.
Turnaround
Order early, then choose pickup or shipping.
- Upload before checkout Choose the product path that fits the job, upload artwork, and include notes if sizing or placement needs review.
- Production review Qualifying print-ready DTF-only orders have a 2 PM ET same-day pickup cutoff and a 3 PM ET same-day shipping cutoff. Artwork issues, large quantities, or quote requests can add review time. Same-day shipping means dispatch, not delivery.
- Pickup or shipping Select local pickup for the Indianapolis shop or choose shipping at checkout. Pickup availability begins after production is complete.
Questions
Indianapolis DTF transfer FAQ
Can I pick up DTF transfers in Indianapolis?
Yes. Indy DTF offers local pickup from the south Indianapolis shop after production is complete. Choose local pickup during checkout when it is available for your order.
Should I order transfers by size or a gang sheet?
Use transfers by size when each design has its own quantity and dimensions. Use a gang sheet when several designs can be placed together on one sheet and trimmed apart after printing.
Can DTF transfers be ready for same-day pickup or shipping?
Qualifying print-ready DTF-only orders can be eligible for same-day pickup before the 2 PM ET cutoff or same-day shipping before the 3 PM ET cutoff. Production capacity, artwork review, quantities, and business days affect eligibility. Same-day shipping is dispatch, not delivery; confirm a firm deadline before ordering.
What files work best for DTF printing?
Transparent PNG, print-ready PDF, AI, and EPS files usually work best. Artwork should be high resolution, correctly sized, and free of unwanted backgrounds or rough edges.
Can schools and nonprofits order tax exempt?

Do you serve areas outside Indianapolis?
Yes. Indy DTF serves nearby Central Indiana communities with pickup in Indianapolis and shipping options for customers farther away.
