Building a DTF gang sheet is one of the easiest ways to print multiple designs on one transfer sheet. With the Indy DTF gang sheet builder, you can upload your artwork, arrange your designs, add text if needed, choose your sheet size, and save or order your gang sheet directly from our website.
This tutorial walks through the basic steps for using the Indy DTF gang sheet builder.
What Is a DTF Gang Sheet?
A DTF gang sheet lets you place multiple logos, names, graphics, or designs onto one sheet. Instead of ordering each transfer separately, you can group your designs together and use the available space more efficiently.
Gang sheets are a good option for custom shirts, small business apparel, team orders, event shirts, logo transfers, and repeat designs.
Step 1: Open the Gang Sheet Builder
Start by visiting the Indy DTF website and selecting the Gang Sheet Builder option from the top category menu.
Once the gang sheet product page opens, scroll down to choose your gang sheet size and print option.
Step 2: Choose Your Gang Sheet Size and Print Option
Indy DTF offers gang sheet sizes from 2 feet up to 25 feet.
You will see two print options:
- IndyColor DTF – vibrant professional color for most artwork.
- ProColor DTF – expanded color range for demanding gradients and tones.
Both IndyColor DTF and ProColor DTF are available in multiple gang sheet lengths. The main difference is the price and the color output level.
Step 3: Check Bulk Pricing
The gang sheet builder also supports bulk buyer pricing. When you order higher quantities, the discount can apply automatically.
For example, if you choose a 2-foot IndyColor DTF gang sheet and order 15 sheets, the website can show your regular total, your discounted total, and how much you save.
This makes it easier to price larger DTF transfer orders before checkout.
Step 4: Click “Build a Gang Sheet”
After choosing your sheet size and print option, click the Build a Gang Sheet button.
You can start a brand-new gang sheet or open a previously saved design if you already created one before.
Step 5: Upload Your Artwork
Inside the builder, use the Uploads area to upload your artwork files. After the file uploads, click the image to place it onto the gang sheet workspace.
You can resize the design, move it around, and place it where you want on the sheet.
For best results, make sure your artwork is high resolution and has a transparent background if needed.
Step 6: Add Text or Extra Designs
The gang sheet builder also allows you to add text if needed. You can type your text, choose a font, change the text color, and adjust stroke color or stroke width.
You can also add more uploaded artwork or choose graphics from the available gallery options.
When arranging multiple designs, make sure the images do not overlap unless that is intentional. Leave enough space between each design so the transfers can be cut apart after printing.
Step 7: Adjust Size, Width, and Height
When you select an object, the editing tools let you adjust the width and height. If the size is locked, changing the width will also adjust the height automatically so the design keeps its correct proportions.
This is helpful when you need your DTF transfers to be a specific size for shirts, hoodies, bags, or other apparel.
Step 8: Save or Add to Cart
When your gang sheet is finished, you have two main options:
- Save and Add to Cart – saves the design and sends it to your cart so you can checkout.
- Save – saves the design as a draft so you can come back and edit it later.
If you choose Save and Add to Cart, give your design a name, save it, and continue to the cart. From there, you can review the price, apply a coupon if you have one, and proceed to checkout.
How to Reopen a Saved Gang Sheet
If you saved a gang sheet but did not order right away, you can return to the gang sheet builder later.
Click Build a Gang Sheet, then choose the option to open a previously saved gang sheet. Your saved draft will appear, and you can reopen it to continue editing or place the order.
